Career opportunities
The main objectives targeted through this license training are summarized in the mastery of the control of satellite telecommunications, satellite broadcasting, communication and surveillance based on satellite technologies and the coding and decoding of channels and error correction. This training focuses on signal processing, optics, fixed and mobile networks, fixed and mobile antenna systems and radars.
The birth of the collaboration with the specialists of the CSIR research center of South Africa reinforces the human potential of the institute of aeronautics and space studies which will allow the achievement of these objectives.
The training par excellence of specialists mastering the procedures of space telecommunications and space regulations is the main objective of this specialty which falls within the framework of the development of the space component and satellite technology in Algeria.
This very vast field opens up very great opportunities for research and development in the space telecommunications sector. National scientific production in this field is now insignificant. In addition, the space agency ASAL will be able to draw on young people trained in collaboration with international potential of great renown.
The licensees as well formes will have an appropriate knowledgefonds different theories related to different satellite and space technologies. They can continue their studies to prepare a Master's degree in Telecommunication training in the Electronics department, in Telecommunication training in the Space Studies department, or in CNS/ATM training in the Air Navigation department.
The main professions targeted are:
– Algerian Space Agency (ASAL).
– Telecommunications companies.
- Algeria Telecom.
– Establishment of air navigation (ENNA).
Employability is the driving force behind the opening of training and represents the main indicator of the success of the training project. As such, the following points must be clarified: sectors of employability of graduates at national and international level, agreements signed with the socio-economic sector, possibilities of internships in the user sectors.
The scientific environment and the specificity of the uniqueness of the institute of aeronautics and space studies as a training establishment on the national level will allow exchanges, within the framework of this license, particularly with the ASAL as well as all national companies that use telecommunications, transmission and information transport facilities (GSM, GPRS, Wifi, satellite links, etc.) and also the means of transporting this information (aerospace, optical fibers, amplifiers, waveguides, antennas, etc.
