This Thursday, January 30, 2025, the Institute of Aeronautics and Space Studies of the University of Blida 1 hosted a scientific conference on artificial intelligence in the field of aviation. The conference was hosted by Professor HadjAli Allel (ENSMA-Poitiers) France.

As part of the scientific cooperation between IAES Blida1 and ISAE-ENSMA in Poitiers (France). Mr. Walid Khames brilliantly defended his doctoral thesis entitled: “advanced processing of sensing Big Data: Multicore architecture-based skyline Model”. The doctoral student's contribution relates to the exploitation of techniques from artificial intelligence for the management and analysis of big data.

The Algerian Interuniversity Competition in Aeronautics, "Rocketry" Edition 2024 is in its fifth edition, after the frank successes of the first, second, third and fourth editions. It is placed this year under the slogan "from competition to innovation" under an engineering challenge which is "Rocket, with design and test of a Hybrid Engine and a payload" The competition has as its main objective "a design of a fixed fin competition rocket with a double parachute deployment recovery system propelled with a commercial engine".

Today, Tuesday, May 21 at 17 p.m., took place within the Institute of Aeronautics and Space Studies, the doctoral defense in aeronautics, avionics specialty of the student Hamda Nor El Imene under the theme “Data management massive in intelligent IOT environments”.

The thesis subject was supervised by Professor HadjAli Allel from ENSMA in Poitiers and co-supervised by Professor Lagha Mohand from Blida1 University.

This doctorate is part of the doctoral mobility program of the Erasmus project, signed between the Institute of Aeronautics and Space Studies of Blida1 University and the National Higher School of Mechanics and Aerotechnics ENSMA of Poitiers.
