“Blida1 University bearing the name of the prestigious nationalist Saad Dahlab is the result of the evolution of the first university center of the city of Blida into a University in 1989. Located in an area with strong agricultural and industrial potential, it is consists of 4 faculties and 4 institutes, offering training in homogeneous fields. The ambition is to meet the specialties sought in the socio-economic world, specific to the Mitidja region and others of an academic nature. A quality education is provided to students at different levels of License, Master and Doctorate by teachers of all grades, supported by dedicated administrative staff. The university has about thirty research laboratories, in continuous development, where teacher-researchers activate in themes that essentially meet the specific needs of the main axes of development of the country in parallel with various current scientific themes. The openness of our university is manifested by numerous cooperation agreements with national institutions as well as by international program agreements. ”
“This allows our teacher-researchers to share and enrich their performance and know-how in cutting-edge technologies. It is traditional for foreign students from friendly countries to evolve harmoniously on our university campus, also contributing to scientific, cultural and sporting events. This clearly ratifies the already existing and future friendly ties with their countries, for which Algeria has always worked to strengthen. Like renowned universities, our institution has developed, through digital technologies, a significant qualitative leap in distance education. E-Learning as well as all the actions that have been undertaken to bring together good governance, the availability of real-time information and the optimization of communication processes have experienced significant growth in recent years. In addition to the availability of an imposing central library of the university, all the libraries of faculties and institutes contribute by an appreciable digital documentary base. This documentation is thus made more materially accessible on the dSpace platform as well as on the univ-blida1 OPAC, for the entire university community.”
