The Department of Urban Planning is committed to adopting new multidisciplinary research approaches to address the emerging planning challenges facing Algerian cities. Guided by a strategic vision and supported by a multidisciplinary teaching staff composed of architects, urban planners, geographers, and engineers, the department contributes through its educational, professional, and research expertise to the development and promotion of urban planning within our institute.

This vision is embodied in the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Urban Planning, which aims to train specialists in urban and regional development who are aware of the new challenges of sustainability and committed to improving quality of life. This undergraduate program will be followed by additional academic and professional Master’s degree programs.

Our commitment to future students is to support them throughout their academic journey and to provide innovative, high-quality education that reflects the latest research and practices in the field of urban planning.
