Message from the Dean of the Faculty, Mr. Ahmed Louazani

It is a great pleasure for me, on my behalf and on behalf of the pedagogical, scientific, and administrative teams of the Faculty of Science, to welcome you to this digital space dedicated to the Faculty of Science at Saad Dahleb University – Blida 1.

Our faculty consists of four departments: Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, and Chemistry. It offers its students a wide range of academic and applied programs covering the three university cycles: Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctorate.
These programs fall under two main fields: Material Sciences (MS) and Mathematics & Computer Science (CS), from which four main streams emerge: Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, including 7 specializations at the Bachelor’s level and 14 at the Master’s level, supervised by highly qualified professors in their respective fields and specialties.

The faculty includes seven research laboratories affiliated with its departments: LPTHIRM, LCSN-BioM, LRDSI, LCPMM, LPCMIA, LPEN, and LAMDA-Ro, all contributing to the advancement of scientific research and fulfilling the university’s mission by supporting doctoral training.
This year, we registered 126 doctoral students, including 86 enrolled in the new LMD system and 40 in the Doctorate in Science program.
