Student activities

The Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies places great importance on parallel student activities, given their essential role in developing students’ personalities and enhancing their skills beyond the academic framework.

These activities are supervised by the Office of Cultural and Sports Activities, headed by Ms. Khadija Hannoun, who works together with a group of students to organize various events combining sports, culture, and science.

Throughout the year, the institute hosts sports competitions, scientific meetings, and cultural workshops aimed at encouraging creativity, initiative, and cooperation among students. Among the most active clubs in this context is the “FOOD TECH” Club, founded in 2022, which focuses on food technology and innovation in the agri-food industry. The club organizes scientific meetings and practical workshops that enrich students’ knowledge in the fields of quality and food safety.

Through these activities, the institute seeks to create a comprehensive educational environment that balances academic training with practical experience, thereby contributing to the preparation of outstanding students capable of facing future challenges with confidence and competence.
