On Sunday, July 12, 2026, the Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezina, chaired the proceedings of the Board of Directors of the Houari Boumediene University of Science and Technology (USTHB) in his capacity as the Chairman of the Board. The meeting was attended by the Rector of the University, members of the Board of Directors, and executives of the institution.

At the beginning of the session, the Chairman of the Board delivered an opening address in which he welcomed the attendees and announced the official opening of the proceedings. This session was dedicated to studying and discussing the files included in the agenda, within a framework of consultation, evaluation, and the adoption of decisions and recommendations capable of supporting the university’s governance and achieving its strategic objectives.
