Student Djafer Chérif Yamna, from the University of Blida 1, was honored today by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during an official ceremony held at the Palace of the People (Palais du Peuple). The ceremony was dedicated to honoring elite Algerian athletes who achieved distinctions in continental and international competitions, and was attended by senior state officials, members of the government, and high-ranking dignitaries.

This recognition comes as a crowning achievement for the outstanding athletic career of student Djafer Chérif Yamna, who achieved an honorable global milestone by raising the national flag high, winning five gold medals at the Kempo World Championship, and contributing to her team’s success in securing first place globally for the national team.

#It is worth noting that just days ago, student Djafer Chérif Yamna was also honored by the Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezina, in recognition of her outstanding athletic achievements and for bringing honor to both the university and Algeria in international competitions.
