Student Jaafar Sharif Yamna, from the University of Blida 1, was honored by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, during the official ceremony held at the People’s Palace today, which was dedicated to honoring the elite Algerian athletes who won continental and international competitions, in the presence of senior state officials, members of the government and high-ranking executives.

This honor comes as a culmination of the outstanding sporting career of student Jaafar Sharif Yamna, who was able to achieve an honorable global accomplishment by raising the national flag high, after winning five gold medals in the World Championship of Kambo, in addition to her contribution to the national team winning first place globally with her team.

It is worth mentioning that student Jaafar Sharif Yamna was honored a few days ago by the Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bazina Mohamed, in recognition of her outstanding sporting achievements and for bringing honor to the university and to Algeria in international competitions.

This exceptional achievement reflects the wealth of talent and expertise within the Algerian university system, capable of shining in various international forums, and combining academic excellence with athletic distinction.
