In the framework of preparations for the 2026 African University Games in Egypt, the delegation of the University City of Blida Province departed on Saturday morning, July 11, 2026, heading to Oran Province to participate in the first national training camp for national university teams, held from July 11 to 16, 2026.

The departure ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Abdelnour Sidmou, Secretary-General of the University of Blida 1, representing the University Rector. Also in attendance were the President of the State League for University Sports in Blida, a member of the League’s General Assembly, and the Head of the Delegation.

This training camp is part of the preparatory program supervised by the Algerian Federation of University Sports to prepare national university teams for their participation in the 2026 African University Games in Egypt.
