As part of the preparations for participation in the African University Games - Egypt 2026, on the morning of Saturday, July 11, 2026, the delegation of the University City of Blida Province left for Oran Province to participate in the first national training camp for national university teams, organized during the period from July 11 to 16, 2026.

The launch ceremony took place in the presence of Mr. Abdelnour Sidmou, Secretary General of the University of Blida 1, representing the University Director, along with the President of the Provincial University Sports Association of Blida, a member of the Association’s General Assembly and head of the delegation.

This training camp comes within the framework of the preparatory program supervised by the Algerian Federation of University Sports to prepare the national university teams, in preparation for participation in the African University Games in Egypt 2026.
