Dear students, welcome to the Physics Department at Saad Dahlab University of Blida 1, a university that is moving steadily and resolutely towards excellence thanks to the efforts of its dedicated teaching staff who perform their duties with love and sincerity, and the interaction and active participation of its students in pedagogical and scientific activities.

The Physics Department proposes an academic Bachelor’s degree program specializing in basic and applied physics, and four Master’s degree programs specializing in materials physics, medical physics, nanophysics, and radiation physics, which are chosen according to student needs and institutional capacity.

Our goal is not limited to preparing students with high scientific competence, but extends to all the skills that enable them to forge their future with strength and competence, and to be able to compete in the labor market.

The Physics Department, along with its scientific, administrative, and pedagogical staff, is committed to the smooth operation of the educational and administrative system, especially with regard to the requirements of students at different levels, and also works to develop the skills required in all areas needed by the department.
