Within the framework of implementing the strategy of the University of Blida 1—aimed at supporting digital transformation and enhancing openness to modern scientific resources—a partnership and cooperation agreement was signed on Sunday, June 7, 2026, between the University of Blida 1 and the Office of University Publications (OPU), marking a qualitative step toward developing the pedagogical and research environment within the university.

The agreement was signed under the supervision of both Professor Bezzina Mohamed, Rector of the University of Blida 1, and Mr. Zine El Abidine Boumelit, Director General of the Office of University Publications.

Objectives of the Partnership:

• Digital Library Access: Enabling students and professors to access the digital library provided by the Office of University Publications, which features a rich repository of books, references, and university publications across various scientific disciplines.

• Enhanced Research Capabilities: Providing students and researchers with fast and secure access to reliable, up-to-date knowledge sources, thereby contributing to the improvement of educational quality and supporting scientific research.

This initiative falls within national efforts aimed at digitizing higher education and modernizing learning mechanisms, in line with the current orientations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to promote the use of digital technologies and expand the utilization of national scientific production.
