On Thursday, July 9, 2026, the Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezina, attended the annual graduation ceremony of the military cohorts for the year 2026. The event was hosted by the Cherchell Military Academy, “The Late President Houari Boumediene,” in the Tipaza Province, under the high patronage of the President of the Republic, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Minister of National Defense, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune.

The ceremony took place in the presence of senior state officials, members of the government, and high-ranking officers of the People’s National Army. The event was highlighted by the pinning of ranks and the presentation of diplomas to top-ranking students, alongside military, aerial, and naval parades that reflected the high level of readiness and professionalism of the People’s National Army.
