We are pleased to inform you that the Peoples’ Friendship University of Russia (RUDN University) has announced the launch of a competition aimed at awarding a prestigious prize in the field of fundamental and applied chemical research, particularly for contributions to the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The eligibility criteria for the competition are as follows:

• The applicant must be a Russian or foreign scientist under the age of 55.
• Applications may be submitted individually or as part of a research team consisting of no more than three (03) members.
• The applicant must not be a current employee of RUDN University.
• The applicant must not have published joint research with researchers from RUDN University during the last ten years.

Application files must be submitted no later than September 16, 2026.

The prize, valued at 3 million rubles (approximately €32,000), will be awarded during a ceremony organized on the occasion of the university’s anniversary in February 2027.
