On Saturday, July 18, 2026, the University of Blida 1 participated in the proceedings of the regional study day held at the University of Algiers 1, which was dedicated to studying the reality of the mechanisms for supporting employability and internships, and the tasks of the university-business liaison offices (BLEU), within the framework of implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research aimed at strengthening the partnership between the university and the economic environment.

This meeting aims to diagnose the reality of employability support mechanisms and university-institution liaison offices (BLEU), identify the legislative and regulatory frameworks governing internships and employability, appreciate successful experiences, and monitor the most prominent challenges and obstacles, in preparation for preparing a national roadmap that contributes to developing these mechanisms and improving their performance.

The meeting also provided a space for exchanging experiences and reviewing best practices, and strengthening the partnership between the university and economic institutions, in order to support mechanisms for accompanying students and graduates towards professional integration, and to enhance the university’s role in aligning education with labor market requirements and contributing to achieving economic and social development.
