University of Blida 1 participated, on Saturday, July 18, 2026, in the proceedings of the regional study day held at the University of Algiers 1. The event was dedicated to studying the current state of employability support mechanisms and internships, as well as the duties of the University-Enterprise Liaison Offices (BLEU). This comes within the framework of implementing the strategy of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, which aims to strengthen the partnership between the university and its economic environment.

This meeting aims to:

• Diagnose the reality of employability support mechanisms and University-Enterprise Liaison Offices (BLEU).

• Identify the legislative and regulatory frameworks governing internships and employability.

• Highlight successful experiences and identify key challenges and obstacles, paving the way for the preparation of a national roadmap to develop these mechanisms and improve their performance.

The meeting also served as a platform to exchange expertise, showcase best practices, and enhance the partnership between the university and economic enterprises. This supports the mechanisms for guiding students and graduates toward professional integration, while strengthening the university’s role in aligning education with labor market requirements and contributing to socio-economic development
