On Thursday, July 16, 2026, the Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezzina, took part in the honoring ceremony for the top-achieving and distinguished students in the Baccalaureate and Middle School Education Certificate (BEM) exams, session 2026. The ceremony was overseen by the Secretary-General of the Blida Wilaya, representing the Governor (Wali) of the Wilaya, in the presence of civil and military authorities, the educational community, and representatives of various bodies and institutions.

This ceremony was held to celebrate the students who achieved the highest scores in the province, including the top achievers from the Cadets of the Nation (Ashbal Al-Omma), people of determination (students with disabilities), and hospitalized students. In addition, educational institutions that recorded the best results were honored, in an initiative that reflects the public authorities’ commitment to fostering a culture of excellence and valuing scientific dedication.
