On Wednesday, July 8, 2026, the Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezina, participated in the proceedings of the second ordinary session of the People’s Provincial Assembly of Blida for the year 2026. The session was organized on the occasion of the 64th anniversary of Independence and Youth Day.

The proceedings took place under the supervision of the Wali (Governor) of Blida Province, in the presence of the President of the People’s Provincial Assembly, local and security authorities, assembly members, representatives of various public bodies and institutions, the revolutionary community, civil society actors, and the media.

This session served as an important milestone to study and discuss a number of priority developmental, administrative, and financial files. It also evaluated the implementation progress of recommendations from the previous session, aiming to enhance local development and support efforts to improve public service across Blida Province.
