Overview of the Common Core Department

The Common Core Department is one of the essential administrative departments of the Faculty of Sciences at Saad Dahlab University – Blida 1.

The department supervises approximately 2,300 students in the Common Core TC/ST programs, in addition to 650 students in the first year of Material Sciences.

These students are guided by around 60 professors in the Common Core and 30 professors in the Material Sciences track, including both permanent faculty and supervisors.

The department ensures the delivery of theoretical lessons, tutorials, and practical sessions under suitable pedagogical conditions, adhering to the highest quality standards in training.

Relationship with Other Departments

The department maintains a continuous collaboration and coordination with other departments of the faculty. Joint coordination meetings are held whenever necessary to ensure program consistency and quality of training.

Furthermore, the Common Core TC/ST Department has become a key contributor to other departments by providing qualified human resources, particularly in student supervision, including professors, pedagogical committees, and scientific contributions.
