On Tuesday, April 14, 2026, the Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bezina Mohamed, participated in the proceedings of the National Strategic Meeting on the Transition to the Fourth Generation University (University 4.0), held at the University of Algiers 1 Youssef Ben Khedda, under the supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.

This meeting was dedicated to presenting the progress of the reform workshops and exploring the prospects for generalizing the University 4.0 model, which is based on the digitization of services, the development of pedagogical practices, the strengthening of governance, and the support of innovation and international openness.

The meeting also saw the participation of international partners, notably the UNIMED network, and emphasized the importance of strengthening academic cooperation and developing joint programs with European universities.
