National Union of Pharmacy Operators

The UNOP – National Union of Pharmacy Operators (الإتحاد الوطني للمتعاملين في الصيدلة) organized, this Thursday, February 9, 2023 at the Golden Tulip hotel in Algiers, the first edition of the national competition for the best innovative socio-economic impact projects in the pharmaceutical field entitled ''Pharma challenge UNOP''.
This event was enhanced by the presence of the Minister of Startups and Micro Enterprises, as well as the Rectors and Deans of the various universities in the country and other research institutions.
The economic world was also present in force through the business leaders who are members of UNOP, their senior executives and the qualified representatives of national banking and financial establishments.
Students and researchers from Saad Dahlab University in Blida participated in this event and some of them distinguished themselves by the quality of their contribution, as follows:
– Miss MEZIAN Soundous Imene, pharmacy student was named Laureate of the “LOGO” competition representing the UNOP Pharmachallenge, by proposing an exceptional design which was also adopted as the official logo of this day.
– Miss BOUCHEKHOU Zohra, doctoral student under the direction of Professor HADJ ZIANE Amel (Process Engineering Department) was named among the ten winners, by proposing an innovative project, entitled: Elaboration of transdermal release patches reinforced by carbon nanotubes for the release of organic anti-inflammatory principles.
– Mr. Professor, BADIS Abdelmalek (Process Engineering Department) was chosen among the ten winners, by proposing a successful project, entitled: Production of keratin hydrolyzate with saprophytic bacterial strains hyper-producing keratinases.
