On the sidelines of the working visit and inspection that led the Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Fisheries, Mr. Yacine Oualid, to the state of Blida, the Director of the University of Blida 1, Professor Bezina Mohamed, attended the activities of the meeting that brought together the Minister with farmers and stakeholders in the sector, organized under the slogan: “Blida… Sustainable agricultural leadership to achieve food security and digital transformation.”

The participation of the University Director in this meeting comes within the framework of strengthening cooperation between the university and its economic and social environment, especially in the fields related to applied scientific research and agricultural innovation, in support of the state’s efforts to achieve food security and promote smart agriculture.

The occasion also provided an opportunity to exchange views on how the university can support agricultural projects through academic expertise, scientific research, and technology transfer, in line with national trends aimed at establishing sustainable agricultural development based on knowledge and digitalization.
