On Monday, April 27, 2026, the Board of Directors of the University of Blida 1 met, chaired by Professor Benyaiche Abdelkrim, Director of the University of Bejaia, and in the presence of the University Director, Professor Bezina Mohamed, and the members of the Board, where it unanimously approved the establishment of the Collective Investment Fund for Risks (FCPR) aimed at supporting emerging institutions and innovation.
This step falls within the framework of strengthening the university’s role within the innovation and entrepreneurship system, through the adoption of a specialized funding mechanism that contributes to supporting technological projects and transforming the results of scientific research into viable economic initiatives.
