The Blida University City delegation is representing the university at a national forum in Biskra

On Monday, April 27th, 2026, the Blida University City delegation set off for the province of Biskra to participate in the National University Games, held from April 27 to May 5, 2026.

An official farewell ceremony took place at the university’s sports complex in the presence of Professor Mohamed Bezina, Rector of Blida 1 University and Director of the University City. The event was also attended by the Director of Youth and Sports for the Province of Blida, the Directors of University Services for Blida and El Affroun, a representative from the National Higher School of Irrigation (ENSH), and the official in charge of the Sub-Directorate of Scientific, Cultural, and Sports Activities.

Key Highlights of the Departure:

  • Guidance and Values: In his address, the University Rector urged the delegation members to honor the University City and Blida 1 University by embodying high sportsmanship, discipline, and exemplary ethics. He emphasized the importance of fair play and teamwork in achieving excellence.

  • Delegation Composition: Under the patronage of the Provincial League of University Sports, the delegation consists of approximately 70 individuals, including male and female athletes, coaches, and support staff.

  • Diverse Participation: The team will compete in various sporting disciplines, reflecting the growing commitment to university sports as a tool for talent development and fostering a sense of belonging and positive competition among students.
