The 3rd Edition of the Youth Innovative Project Salon at Blida 1 University

On Tuesday, April 28th, 2026, the University of Blida 1 hosted the third edition of the Youth Innovative Project Salon in the lobby of the Grand Conference Hall. The event was organized in coordination with the Directorate of Youth and Sports of Blida Province and the Essiraj Association.

On this occasion, Professor Roudane Mohamed, Vice-Rector of the University in charge of Scientific Research (representing the University Rector), accompanied by the Director of Youth and Sports for Blida, the Acting Head of the Sub-Directorate for Scientific, Cultural, and Sporting Activities, and representatives from various support and mentorship agencies, visited the exhibition booths of the innovative students.

They received firsthand briefings on the innovative projects presented by university students, members of scientific clubs, participants from other universities, and young independent innovators. The officials praised the quality of the ideas and the evolving level of creativity displayed by the participants.


Objectives and Activities

The salon aims to foster innovation and digital entrepreneurship while encouraging young people to transform their creative ideas into actionable projects through:

  • An exhibition of projects.

  • Competitive contests.

  • Training workshops for participants.

Evaluation and Recognition

The participating projects will undergo a rigorous evaluation over two consecutive days by a specialized committee of professors and experts. The selection process is based on several criteria, including:

  1. Innovation and originality.
  2. Impact and feasibility.
  3. Quality of execution.
  4. Presentation skills.

The event will conclude with the selection and honoring of the best project and its creator.
