Welcome to the website of the Faculty of Technology at Blida 1 University.

A country like Algeria must strive to acquire the means for technological development, especially in this era of globalization. As a spearhead of our university’s partnership with its environment, the Faculty of Technology aims to play a leading role in this path outlined by the administration.

With a significant human and material potential, including senior academic staff, administrative cadres, support personnel, and several research laboratories, the faculty is always ready to fulfill its mission of transferring knowledge to future generations. More than 9,000 students are supervised and trained at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. The courses offered cover the field of Science and Technology across eight key departments, ranging from preparatory classes for engineering schools to renewable energies. The training programs are designed according to norms and standards to meet the expectations of the local, regional, national, and global socio-economic environment.

Our immediate ambition is to strengthen the faculty’s connection with the industrial world, as a hallmark of quality education. This is achieved through the organization of meetings, fostering preferential relationships, and establishing cooperation agreements. The scientific and educational outcomes will contribute to broader knowledge production and dissemination, stimulate debate and the search for solutions, and enhance international visibility while refining the talents of tomorrow.
