Duties of the Deputy Dean :
The joint ministerial decree dated 8 Rajab 1425 AH, corresponding to 24 August 2004, defines the administrative organization of the university, college, institute, university annex, and their shared services. (Official Gazette No. 62, dated 26 September 2004)
Article 23 — The Vice Dean in charge of Graduate Studies, Scientific Research and External Relations shall be responsible for the following tasks:

Monitoring the progress of postgraduate admission competitions

Taking or proposing the necessary measures to ensure the smooth running of postgraduate studies programs.

Supervising the progress of discussions of dissertations and graduate theses

Monitoring the progress of scientific research activities
-
Initiating partnership initiatives with the economic and social sectors
-
Initiating initiatives to enhance national and international university cooperation
-
Implementing capacity-building and teacher rehabilitation programs
-
Monitoring the work of the college's scientific council and preserving its archives.
