The college was founded in 1998, following the merger of two existing institutes, namely the Agricultural Sciences وVeterinary Sciences.

Official establishment of the Faculty of Science (From which the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences later emerged) pursuant to Executive Decree No. 98-253.

The Department of Biology was incorporated in 2000, by ministerial decree.

M division Faculty of Agricultural and Veterinary Biological Sciences Officially into two structures, namely: Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences وInstitute of Veterinary SciencesWithin the University of Blida 1.

This division came about according to Executive Decree No. 03-279 Dated 24 Jumada II 1424 AH corresponding to 23 August 2003, amended and supplemented, which determined the number and method of specialization (naming) of the colleges and institutes that make up the University of Blida 1.

Similar to other colleges, it began LMD system (Bachelor's, Master's, Doctorate) In 2004, with a small number of students, this number reached 485 students.
