The award ceremony for the winners of the 6th edition of the National Interuniversity Aeronautics Competition (Rocketry 2025) was held recently. Organized by the Institute of Aeronautics and Space Studies, the event was presided over by Professor Mohamed Bezzina, Rector of the University.

The ceremony was attended by university officials, the CEO of SOFICLEF (the event sponsor), the Vice-Rector of USTHB-Bab Ezzouar, and a jury composed of international researchers and experts.

The Winners

The ceremony honored three teams, ranked as follows:

• 1st Place: National Polytechnic School of Constantine

• 2nd Place: National Polytechnic School of Algiers (El-Harrach)

• 3rd Place: University of Blida 1 and USTHB (Bab Ezzouar)

Trophies and certificates of merit were awarded to all candidates to recognize their commitment and to reaffirm the university’s support for technological innovation and research.

A Qualitative Leap in Science

Professor Amina Benkhedda, Director of the Institute of Aeronautics and Space Studies, expressed her gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of this sixth edition. She noted that this year’s competition represented a qualitative leap in scientific standards and praised the significant efforts made by all parties involved.
