### 🧩 Presentation of departments and interventions of the leaders
Following the Director's remarks, Mr. Yahia Achour, Head of the Preclinical Department, took the floor. He presented his department's missions, the core courses that will be taught (anatomy, physiology, animal biology, etc.), as well as the practical work and assessment procedures. He encouraged students to get involved from the start, ask questions, and take advantage of the resources available to consolidate their foundations.
Then, **Ms. Sellali Sabrina**, head of the **clinical** department, explained to the students the specificities of the clinical cycle: teaching in animal clinics, internships in veterinary establishments (public or private), management of real cases, and the role of the practical approach in learning diagnosis, treatment and surgery. She emphasized the importance of preparation from the first years to be operational in a clinical environment.
Each department head was also officially introduced during the ceremony, so that students knew who to contact in their studies (referring teachers, module leaders, etc.).

🔜 What's next for students
During this back-to-school period, several steps and activities have been announced to guide newcomers:
* **Group distribution** for lectures, tutorials and practical work.
* **Semi-annual schedule** with dates for exams, tests, internships and assignment submissions.
* **Registration for optional or elective modules** depending on the possibilities offered by the Institute.
* **Presentation of educational support systems**: tutorials, refresher sessions, discussion groups.
* **Administrative guidance**: methods of paying university fees, registration procedures, access to libraries, IT services.
* **Visits to laboratories, clinics, veterinary facilities** to familiarize students with the Institute's infrastructure.
The objective is clear: to offer structured support from the outset, so that each student understands the requirements of veterinary training, anticipates challenges and can build a calm and coherent path.
