**To enroll in training in Algeria, foreign students and trainees must do the following:**
- Submitting proof of their certificates and qualifications Which entitles them, in accordance with national legislation, to pursue the training for which they are applying;
- Subject to the conditions of registration in university studies Applied to Algerian candidates registered in the same training program;
- Undergoing a mandatory medical examination upon arrival in Algeria This also applies to periodic health check-ups. For this purpose, training institutions can engage healthcare facilities, based on agreements, to handle this process.
As an exception, the committee may, for candidates benefiting from Algerian government scholarships, **grant exceptions to the admission requirements** at the request of their country of origin, within the limits permitted by the operational requirements of the institutions…
The application file contains the following:
* **Legally certified copy or translation** For the certificate or qualification required for admission to the training program, in addition to the **equivalence** certificate issued by the Minister in charge of Higher Education;
* **Points revealed** For candidates wishing to pursue postgraduate training;
* **Extract from the candidate's birth certificate** Or any other document that serves as its substitute;
* **Citizenship certificate**;
* **A photocopy of the accepted candidate's passport**;
* **Two academic recommendations**Two submissions from two professors in the same specialization, for candidates for the **postgraduate** stage;
* **medical certificate** It is proven that the candidate is free from infectious and/or communicable diseases, and that he is **fit to follow the training** that will be provided to him;
* **Four recent photographs**.
The Student and Foreigner Recruitment Committee may request from the candidate or their affiliated entity any information or documents that would complete the file.
Students in the undergraduate and postgraduate stages, affiliated with the constituent ministerial sectors, other than the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, who do not master the language of instruction, benefit from a year of intensive language training at the level of language teaching institutes affiliated with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The year of language training is integrated into the total duration of the training program, and students are entitled to benefit from the same privileges.
A list of foreign students who need this type of training is sent annually to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
The monthly grant amount has been determined as follows:
The cost of the third level of basic education is 600 DZD;
Post-basic education level training…… 700 DZD;
License level training…… 1350 DZD;
Master's level/new system training…. 1650 DZD.
