Why university qualification?

University qualifications allow a professor to:

– The professor obtains the rank of Associate Professor (A) or Research Professor (A)
Supervising doctoral dissertations
Leading research projects
– Leads a research team

Who are those concerned with university qualifications?

University qualification is open to lecturers (section B) or research professors (section B):
Those who hold a permanent position in the higher education and scientific research sector for at least three years
– Lecturer, Department B or Research Professor, Department B 
- Those who obtain a PhD in Science or an LMD PhD, or a certificate equivalent to it.

When and where should the university qualification application be submitted?
The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research opens two application periods per year for university qualifications. Applications must be submitted exclusively through the Progress platform.
