Registration of new baccalaureate holders
Access to higher education and training is open to holders of a baccalaureate degree or any foreign degree recognized as equivalent.
Registration procedures are carried out by the Ministry of Higher Education, where all initial registration, orientation, and appeals processes for new baccalaureate holders are conducted exclusively online: https://www.mesrs.esi.dz

To ensure the best choice, the new baccalaureate holder should consult with the pedagogical team that organizes an information campaign about:
-
Universities and higher education institutions.
-
Various fields of study and/or departments available at the University of Blida 1.
-
Various methods and procedures for initial registration and guidance.

New baccalaureate holders must complete the online application form available on the designated websites, following the general guidelines outlined in the guidance document. They must list, in descending order and up to a maximum of four (04) choices, the fields of study they wish to enroll in.
In order to fill out the preference form more accurately, the choices of the baccalaureate holder must take into account all the conditions specified in the field of initial registration in the fields of training.

The national information system will process all preference forms submitted online by new baccalaureate holders. This processing is based on a combination of three criteria:

The desires expressed by the holder of the baccalaureate certificate.

Baccalaureate division and results (grading, core subject grades, and overall average).

The absorptive capacity of higher education and training institutions.
By checking the website http://www.orientation.esi.dzHolders of a baccalaureate certificate will be able to find out where they have been assigned and confirm their registration online.

Appeals: New baccalaureate holders who are dissatisfied with their assigned field of study may appeal, but only if the assigned field does not match any of the ten choices listed on their application form. Appeals must be submitted exclusively online.
If a baccalaureate holder is initially assigned to a program requiring a competitive entrance exam, aptitude test, or interview, and subsequently fails these tests, they will be reassigned to one of the other options listed on their application form, subject to the required academic conditions. In this case, the institution to which they were initially assigned remains responsible for overseeing all reassignment procedures, within the framework of regional conferences.
05.
After confirming his registration, the holder of the baccalaureate certificate goes to the institution to which he has been assigned to submit his registration file, pay the registration fees, and receive the administrative registration confirmation documents (student card, school certificate, library card).
The registration fees are the same for Algerian and foreign students and amount to 200 DZD.
