Welcome to the Institute Library
The library of the Institute of Architecture and Urban Planning at Saad Dahlab University (Blida 1) was established in 2016 and serves as a cornerstone of academic resources. Its collection currently comprises 5000 books specializing in architecture, urban planning, and heritage architecture, in addition to over 1500 master's and engineering theses. The dedicated library staff is committed to assisting users and fulfilling their bibliographic requests and research needs. Furthermore, our library provides an open space for hosting academic conferences and all activities that contribute to enriching teaching and scientific research.
The library of the Institute of Architecture can accommodate approximately 160 readers and consists of:
- A reading room with a capacity of 160 seats For the students of the institute.

Books that have only one copy are not available for external borrowing, but are available for internal borrowing (for viewing only) and must be returned to the library on the same day.
Copy number 1 of each title is not available for external loan, and is available for internal loan only (must be returned to the library on the same day).
Borrowed items must be returned before the loan period ends. Any delay in returning the items will result in a three-day suspension of their use for each day of delay.
