The Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezina, participated in the commemorative events for National Martyr’s Day. The ceremonies were presided over by the Wali (Governor) of the province, Mr. Djamel Eddine Hasas, accompanied by the Inspector General of the Ministry of Mujahideen and Rights Holders, representing the Minister, on the morning of Tuesday, February 17, 2026.

In this context, a delegation proceeded to the Martyrs’ Cemetery in the municipality of Blida. The ceremony included the raising of the national flag and the playing of the national anthem, followed by the recitation of the Fatiha at the memorial monument in memory of our righteous martyrs.
