**THEORETICAL PHYSICS AND RADIATION–MATTER INTERACTIONS LABORATORY**

* The LPTHIRM laboratory is part of the Saad Dahlab University of Blida (USDB 1) in Algeria. It conducts both theoretical and applied research. These activities are carried out by research teams whose axes revolve around theoretical and mathematical physics, the study of dynamic systems and radiation-matter interactions.*

- Theoretical physics
- Coherent and compressed states in the supersymmetry formalism of quantum mechanics and the theory of (deformed) Lie groups.
- Field theory, general relativity and gravitation and super strings.
- Study of discrete dynamic systems associated with the iteration of birational transformations.
- Simulation and Computational physics
- Development of nuclear multi-element microanalysis techniques.
- nuclear medicine
- Quality assurance within a radiotherapy department with high energy photon beams.
- Development of dosimetric calculation methods in radiotherapy (photon beam, neutrons, ions) brachytherapy using Monte Carlo simulation.
- Complementary dosimetry of the extremities in nuclear medicine and radiation protection of personnel in nuclear medicine.
- Applications of nuclear analysis methods (environment, health, industry, etc.). PET/CT imaging (Respiratory movement correction).
- Modeling and resolution of energetic systems

### Computational Physics

Our team combines computer science, simulation, physics, artificial intelligence, data science, and applied mathematics to solve complex.

About us### Phenomenology in High Energy Physics and Quantum Information

We study models of the strong and electroweak interactions and the search for deviations from its predictions.

About us### Characterization and analysis of microelectronic components

We study all stages of microelectronic materials in detail giving in-depth treatments of the subject matter, analysis of surfaces, interfaces and thin films.

About us### Ionizing Radiation

We study the energy released by atoms in the form of electromagnetic waves or particles.

About us### Mathematical Physics

We are concerned by problems in statistical mechanics, atomic and molecular physics, quantum field theory, and, in general, with the mathematical foundations of theoretical physics.
