The Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezina, participated this Thursday morning, February 26, 2026, at the Ministry’s headquarters, in the launch ceremony of the National Model for Intellectual Property Policy. The event was presided over by the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Mr. Kamel Baddari, alongside the Director of the External Office of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Algeria. The ceremony took place in the presence of the Director General of the Algerian National Institute of Industrial Property (INAPI) and a representative from the National Office of Copyright and Related Rights (ONDA).

This model is considered a significant strategic step toward enhancing the protection of scientific research outputs and fostering innovation in Algeria. It establishes a unified national framework to regulate the mechanisms for protecting and promoting the rights of researchers and inventors, ultimately contributing to the valorization of scientific results and their transformation into economic and social value.
