ISTA: Exhibition of innovative projects in the food industry
Students from the Institute of Applied Sciences and Technology of the University of Blida1 organized, on Thursday, February 27, 2025, an exhibition dedicated to the presentation of innovative projects in the food industry.
The innovative projects in agri-food were presented by the students before a jury, chaired by Dr. Mustapha Nabi, director of the institute, the director of the incubator of the University of Blida1, Dr. Nawel Tidjani, teachers and specialists. The students provided in-depth clarifications regarding the manufacturing methods and the use of advanced technologies in the creation of innovative food products.
On this occasion, the students proposed a wide range of products, including healthy and natural alternatives, as well as food solutions adapted to specific diets, such as those of diabetics, celiacs or those intolerant to gluten.
Emphasis was placed on the quality of food products and the importance of healthy eating, highlighting the role of food industries in promoting public health and preventing disease.
The event demonstrates the commitment of the University of Blida 1 to strengthening practical teaching and bringing the academic world closer to market realities, both national and international, thus providing students with a platform to showcase their skills and know-how in the field of food industries.
