Master's objectives
Profiles and skills targeted
Chemistry is an important sector in the field of science (SM field). Indeed, this sector, which initially developed around fundamental chemistry, brings together a very wide range of The educational organization allows a progressive orientation during the training and ensures the student a solid basic training in general chemistry during the first four semesters (from S1 to S4) and extensive specialized training in the field of chemistry applied to pharmaceutical products during the last two semesters (S5 and S6) The development of a pharmaceutical industry in partnership with laboratories foreigners is among the routes favored by local authorities, consequently, announcements of the creation of pharmaceutical factories are increasing in Algeria. Therefore, by proposing the launch and implementation of this master's training in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at the University of Blida 1, to train qualified executives is of capital importance with regard to the socio-economic environment of this wilaya.
The purpose of this specialty is to give the student the tools and bases necessary for the design and preparation of new molecules with biological activity by using the best strategies for designing active ingredients.
Good general theoretical training in chemistry combined with high-level specialization in the field of synthesis methodologies, eco-compatible chemistry and pharmaceutical chemistry.
- Solid practical training
- Ability to work in the laboratory (teamwork, adaptability)
- Project management, particularly research projects
- Bibliographic analysis and research (documentation), technological monitoring
- Writing reports (analysis of results, positioning of work, definition of perspectives)
- Oral expression, presentation of results
- Mobility, international openness
