Profiles and skills targeted
Career opportunities
Access to this master's degree is open to holders of a license in various specialties: Fundamental Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Chemistry; Materials chemistry; Analytical Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Physical Chemistry.
The professional master's program in formulation chemistry is designed so that future graduates perfectly master the theory and techniques used in the field of formulation. The student will be able to:
- Choose and analyze raw materials and/or a formulated product.
- Improve a product or process (knowledge of tools for characterizing formulated products, process engineering, quality control, etc.).
- Validate the manufacturing processes of the formulated product.
- Integrate into an industrial sector (knowledge of the company; regulations).
- Collaborate effectively with other partners
- Participate effectively in marketing the finished product (Packaging, advertising, etc.).
The professional master's degree is designed to access employment. This training allows future graduates to practice the profession of:
- Formulator in the cosmetics, paint, glue, adhesive, detergent, etc. industries.
- Team leader or senior technicians specialized in quality control in sectors of activity such as cosmetics; varnish and paint; detergent; Galenics; food industry, etc.
- Product manager in quality services
The master's degree in formulation chemistry offers future graduates the opportunity to apply in the different industrial sectors existing in the region, such as:
- Pharmaceutical product companies (SAIDAL;BIOPHARM;….).
- Agri-food companies (SIM; Orangina; Aromatech, etc.).
- Cleaning product companies (HayetDétergentHygièneCorporel; IPAC, etc.).
- Cosmetic product companies (VENUS; Vaguedefraicheur…)
- Plastic product companies (MouzaiaPlastique; PLASTIMAK, etc.).
