The fields of analytical sciences, in Algeria, have their own needs and requirements which are called upon to be reinforced by the training of competent executives who can stimulate and develop the development of methods of analysis specific to the fields, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, food. , environmental and industrial, thereby generating a vast market which is and will be in full expansion.

Analytical chemists, being sorely lacking, currently on the labor market, the opening of this master will make it possible to meet this urgent demand. This specialty within the Analytical Chemistry Master is the extension of the Analytical Chemistry License.

The objective of the Master I (First year) is to give the fundamental bases in chemistry, in physical chemistry, and in analytical techniques; to students so that they can approach a broader training in Master II (Second year).

This Master will allow students to assert themselves in the field of physico-chemical analysis. This training will also allow them to enter the professional world in quality control laboratories or in research and development laboratories.

The master offered in this course will have both an academic and professional character. The sectors requiring this training profile are numerous and access to the job market for future graduates who have acquired know-how in the fields of analytical sciences will be facilitated. It will enable future graduates to assert themselves in the field of physico-chemical analysis. The holder of the Analytical Chemistry Master will be qualified to work in a company (research and quality control) or in analysis, control or research-development laboratories; liberal profession (creation of laboratory); to ensure quality management and to write reports and protocols within the framework of the application of standards; or pursue doctoral training in the specialty whose level already exists.

The Master's in Analytical Chemistry will allow the graduate to fit easily into professional life, given the interest of the subjects and themes taught. Practically all analysis laboratories in the industrial or public health sectors or independent service providers in various fields can be potential applicants for this type of training, in particular existing companies in the region, such as:

  • Agri-food companies (SIM; Orangina; Aromatech, etc.).
  • Oil companies (sonatrach and its subsidiaries as well as foreign partners)
  • Cleaning product companies (Hayet Detergent Hygiène Corporel; IPAC, etc.).
  • Pharmaceutical product companies (SAIDAL; BIOPHARM; ….).
  • Cosmetics companies (VENUS; Wave of freshness)

- Plastic products companies (Mouzaia Plastique; PLASTIMAK, etc.).

For students who want to continue their doctoral training, the last level of doctorate already exists. They can therefore compete at the beginning of each academic year.
