In accordance with the directives of the oversight ministry regarding the restoration and rehabilitation of university structures, and the assignment of supervision for these operations to higher education institutions, a coordination meeting was held this Wednesday afternoon, February 18, 2026, at the University Rectorate.

The meeting was attended by:

Professor Mohamed Bezzina, Rector of the University of Blida 1.

Professor Adel Mezough, Director General of the National Office of University Services (ONOU).

The Vice-Rector in charge of Development, Foresight, and Guidance.

The Director of University Services for Blida.

The session was dedicated to finalizing the organizational and technical aspects preceding the launch of the renovation and rehabilitation projects for the university residences under the Directorate of University Services of Blida.

This meeting reflects a practical approach based on tight coordination between various stakeholders. The goal is to ensure that work commences in an organized and efficient manner, achieving the set objectives of improving students’ living conditions and enhancing the overall quality of university services.
