University of Blida 1, activities of the national forum entitled:
“Oxidative Stress in a Changing World: Health, Environment and Multidisciplinary Innovations,” in the presence of a select group of professors, researchers and students from various university institutions, in a distinguished scientific atmosphere that reflects the dynamism and activity of scientific research within the university.
The opening of this scientific event was overseen by Dr. Ait Saadi Mohamed Hussein, Vice-Rector of the University in charge of Development and Foresight, who delivered an opening speech in which he welcomed the attendees, stressing the great importance of such scientific events in promoting academic research and strengthening the culture of innovation.

For her part, the organizer of the event, Professor Saadi Leila, delivered a speech in which she stressed the importance of this forum as a scientific space for the exchange of knowledge and experiences among researchers, noting that the topic of oxidative stress is one of the current scientific issues that requires working on developing research mechanisms and using (IT) technologies such as artificial intelligence in the fields of health and the environment.
The opening ceremony was attended by the family of the Faculty of Natural and Life Sciences, headed by the Dean of the Faculty, along with a considerable number of professors, researchers, students and the media, in a picture that reflects the spirit of collective engagement in supporting scientific and academic activity.
The event was also distinguished by the active participation of the college’s scientific clubs, which contributed to enlivening the forum’s activities through scientific presentations and accompanying activities, giving it an interactive character that enhances the student’s role in university life and encourages creativity and innovation.
The symposium program includes a series of lectures and scientific sessions that address various aspects of oxidative stress, from molecular mechanisms to biotechnological and preventive applications, and the relationship of oxidative stress to food and health, in addition to the presentation of scientific posters highlighting the latest research findings in this field.
The proceedings of this conference are expected to produce a number of important scientific recommendations on enhancing food security, which will contribute to the development of research in this vital field, and enhance the university’s position as a center of scientific influence and community service.
