The Institute of Applied Sciences and Technologies of Blida 1 University held an exceptional ceremony of distinction and recognition this Wednesday, July 9, 2025, in honor of brilliant students, valedictorians, for their academic excellence and sustained efforts. This initiative is part of the promotion of excellence and the encouragement of increased scientific engagement. It also constitutes an official recognition of the students' efforts, which represent the pride of the Institute and the promise of the future.

The event was also a valuable opportunity to honor the faculty and staff who contributed to training a generation capable of keeping pace with technological and industrial developments. The ceremony was attended by the entire Institute community: the Secretary General, teaching and administrative staff, faculty, and students, all expressing their pride in the achievements of the laureates.
The Director of the Institute, Dr. Nebri Rachid, opened the ceremony with a welcoming address in which he particularly congratulated the distinguished students. He emphasized the importance of this specialty, specifying that the Institute is one of the few universities nationwide to offer this type of training. He highlighted the unique nature of the Institute, which is simultaneously educational, scientific, and professional, combining a theoretical and practical approach and working to develop students' skills to effectively prepare them for the challenges of the industrial market, particularly in the agri-food industry.
