Celebration of World Civil Defence Day

The rector of the University of Blida1, Pr. Mohamed Bezzina, attended, Monday March 3, 2025, the ceremony to celebrate the World Civil Protection Day, chaired by the wali of the wilaya of Blida, Mr. Ibrahim Ouchene, at the civil protection unit "Chahid Yahiaoui Ben Malek".

Organized this year under the slogan: "Defense and civil protection, guarantee of the security of the populations", the celebration gave rise to the execution of exercises and practical maneuvers, the exhibition of the equipment used during the intervention in different accidents and the presentation of new units such as the canine unit and the unit of rescue and intervention in urban areas outside the national territory and the cadets of civil protection.

Various distinctions were awarded during the ceremony, including the presentation of ranks to promoted executives and agents, and tributes to the winners of competitions, various activities, and volunteer first aiders.
