Celebrating International Women's Day

On the occasion of International Women's Day, which takes place on March 8 each year, the University of Blida1 organized, on Sunday March 9, 2025, an awards ceremony in honor of female teachers and employees of the
central services, chaired by the university rector, Prof. Mohamed Bezzina. The event took place in the presence of the secretary general, representatives of the university works commission and representatives of the unions.

On this occasion, the rector highlighted the constant commitment of Algerian women, from the struggle for independence to their essential contribution to the building of the new Algeria. He also expressed his gratitude to the women of the university for their essential contribution to society and their efforts in various fields.

At the same time, similar ceremonies were held in various faculties and institutes of the university.
