As part of the second national initiative to plant five (05) million trees, the Rector of the University of Blida 1, Professor Mohamed Bezzina, participated in the launch of the National Tree-Planting Campaign.

The event took place on the morning of Saturday, February 14, 2026, at the University of Blida 2, in the presence of the Wali (Governor) of Blida, officials from Blida 2 University, local authorities, and various stakeholders.
