The Department of Architecture provides high-quality education through a multidisciplinary team of research professors and experienced professionals. This team aims to train students in various aspects of architecture—technical, environmental, heritage, and urban—while developing their soft skills to foster their entrepreneurial and leadership potential throughout their university studies.

Furthermore, the program aims to gradually immerse students into the socio-professional environment through the university’s established relationships with socio-economic partners. This integration takes the form of practical internships, allowing students to explore the professional world and expand their career prospects during their academic journey.

The Department of Architecture provides students with continuous access to course materials via an e-learning platform, facilitating constant and interactive exchange between students and their professors. Moreover, the medium of instruction is gradually transitioning toward English, enabling students to broaden their global horizons.

Students are also encouraged to develop their entrepreneurial skills throughout their studies. Any innovative idea that contributes to solving a challenge within Algerian society can be realized through the “Thesis-Startup” project, an initiative launched by the supervisory authorities.

Finally, we warmly welcome all students enrolled in the Department of Architecture at the University of Blida 1. This digital space is dedicated to supporting them throughout their studies and is open for any exchange.
