Introduction to the laboratory

The City Observatory and Urban and Spatial Transformation Planning Laboratory is a specialized scientific research unit concerned with studying the city in its various morphological, social, economic and environmental dimensions, with a focus on tracking and understanding the urban and spatial transformations that urban communities are experiencing.

 The laboratory works to monitor and track the dynamics of urbanization and the changes that affect the urban structure.
