Institute of Architecture

The Department of Architecture offers its curriculum through a multidisciplinary team of research professors and experienced professionals. This team aims to train students in various aspects of architecture—technical, environmental, heritage, and urban—as well as develop their personal skills to help them cultivate their entrepreneurial and leadership potential throughout their university studies. The program also aims to gradually immerse students in the social and professional spheres through the university's established relationships with social and economic partners. This integration takes the form of practical training, allowing students to explore the professional world and see their employment prospects expand throughout their studies.

The Department of Architecture provides students with continuous access to course materials through an e-learning platform, enabling ongoing and interactive exchange between students and their professors. Furthermore, the language of instruction is gradually shifting towards English, allowing students to broaden their horizons.

Students are also encouraged to develop their entrepreneurial skills throughout their studies. Any idea that contributes to solving a problem in Algerian society can be implemented through the "Thesis-Startup Project" initiative, a program of the supervising body.

Finally, we welcome all students enrolled in the Department of Architecture at Blida 1 University. This online space is dedicated to supporting them throughout their studies and is open to any exchange.
