Introduction:
Poultry production plays an important role in the national strategy to ensure food security for the Algerian consumer. Poultry meat and eggs contribute significantly to meeting nutritional needs for animal protein at a low cost. This sector is considered a strategic component of the national economy and requires strict health control to ensure its harmonious development. However, the persistence and emergence of certain diseases, particularly avian salmonellosis, hinder the development of this sector.
