Incorporation

Enjoy Institute of Aviation and Space Studies With over thirty (30) years of existence, the Institute was established in 1986 by Decree No. 86-238 dated September 16, 1986, following the decision of a special committee comprising the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the Ministry of National Defense, and the Ministry of Transport. At that time, the Institute held the status of National Institute of Higher Education (INES)He was known as IABThis continued until the establishment of the University of Blida in 1989, when it became a department within the Faculty of Engineering Sciences. Later, this department was upgraded to Institute of Aviation and Space Studies Pursuant to Executive Decree No. 13-163 dated April 15, 2013.

Since its establishment in 1986, the institute has played a vital role in developing highly qualified human resources in the fields of aircraft maintenance and operation in Algeria. Over the years, its graduates, both civilian and military, have held positions in various aviation and air transport agencies and institutions both within Algeria and abroad.

Since gaining its new status as an institute within the university, the Institute of Aviation and Space Studies is currently organized into three departments: Aircraft Construction (Aviation) Department، Air Navigation Department, AndSpace Studies DepartmentThe institute has witnessed remarkable development in the field of training, and has become an attractive destination for students, who enroll with very high grades and levels in the baccalaureate certificate.

Our university is among the first universities in Algeria to have adopted the new training system. LLM (Bachelor - Master - Doctorate)And it was Institute of Aviation and Space Studies The first institute at Saad Dahlab University to adopt this new training system. Since 2004, the year the LMD system was adopted, applied and academic bachelor's degrees have been introduced, with the aim of aligning the training offered at the institute with the requirements of the labor market.

Academic organization
